What is a Medigap plan?

Medigap coverage is where you keep original Medicare and pay a separate monthly premium to an insurance company to cover the out of pocket expenses left over after medicare pays their portion.

  • If Medicare pays a covered expense your supplement will also pay.

  • If Medicare does not approve a claim your supplement will not pay.

  • Medigap plans are guaranteed renewable.

  • You must have Medicare A and B to get a Medigap policy.

  • Medigap plans allow you to go to any hospital or doctor that accepts original Medicare.(no network)

  • You are covered outside the U.S. as well (reimbursement)

  • No referrals required to see a specialist.
